After nearly fifteen years online, here comes the 3.0 version of Seaframes.com. Within these years I´ve been constantly adapting the web site appearance and style according to my personal perception of what it should be, my marketing strategies, and of course, to my own maturing process as an independent professional amidst an ever-changing industry.
In this delicate context, always sailing on the same verge of sanity, every little step in the career of a nature photographer is a new adventure, a new path built over the fears of uncertainty with the only weak guide of the previous experience, powered by an unhealthy determination to give voice to Mother Nature, and wrapped with the warm support and inspiration of so many friends and colleagues, craftsmen of light, yet ironically blind believers all of us.
Someone once said, we are nothing but evanescent bags of flesh and bone filled with pieces of our experiences with the others. I can´t agree more. I would love to write an acknowledgement list with all the people that have been behind this ride through my professional life, specially since most of them don´t even know how much I owe them, but I am still too young to be politically incorrect (even though I promise it will not take too long).
I have a lifetime debt with all of them, and the work featured on this website is a reflection of the deep footprint they have left on me.
